Requirements

• Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing.
• Current VA LPN license.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care to customers and performs functions delegated and assigned by the center’s head nurse.
• Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality by following HIPAA regulations.
• Maintains record keeping of appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service through attitude and actions, consistent with the organization's Vision, Mission, and Values.
• Administers nursing care and medications.
• Assists physicians with procedures and monitoring as designated by the supervising or ordering physician.
