Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Women's Clinic Job Type: Full Time | Days $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates. Schedule: Day shift (8a-5p), weekdays. Requirements
- Current North Carolina or compact state Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities
- Assists Providers with preparation and information documentation for the patient’s visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.
- Prepares exam rooms for patients.
- Assists Providers with procedures as directed by the Provider.
- Assists with collection of lab samples.
- Gives injections, administers meds, and provides wound care as ordered by Provider.
- Documents all care and education in medical record.
