About The Position

Good Shepherd's Skilled Nursing team is looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their resident-focused environment. The role involves delivering exceptional care and offers a generous benefits package. Available shifts include Full-Time and Part-Time options for Evenings & Overnights.

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification
• Must demonstrate ability to perform necessary responsibilities of the position

Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope of the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, following recognized standards of clinical care
• Delegate, monitor, and provide high-quality resident care in accordance with individual care plans
• Administer and document medications and treatments accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively by receiving and providing thorough reports on resident status and any changes in condition
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support and mentor new nursing staff, assisting them in learning facility procedures, policies, and standards of care
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency protocols and respond appropriately to all emergency situations
