About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves supporting Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians by delivering basic nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state-specific)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work effectively under supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical or hospital experience preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and procedures
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Support care plan implementation in collaboration with RNs and healthcare staff
- Provide basic wound care and assist with clinical procedures
- Educate patients and families on care instructions and follow-up needs
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within scope of practice
