About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract at a long-term care facility in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a supportive, team-based environment.
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered New York LPN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience, preferably in long-term care or similar settings
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to float to various units as needed
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents.
- Float to all units within the same building as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor resident vital signs and conditions.
- Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
