About The Position
Saratoga Medical is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in South Carolina. This is a great full-time contract opportunity. Under general supervision, assists in a variety of paraprofessional nursing tasks within an institutional healthcare setting. This position is intended for inpatient environments involving high-risk and high-acuity patients. Employees in this role work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), licensed physician, or other authorized healthcare practitioner in accordance with South Carolina law.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license through the South Carolina State Board of Nursing
- CPR/BLS certification may be required
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of practical nursing procedures and human anatomy
- Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to maintain accurate patient documentation
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations
- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and patient support
- Monitor and observe patient conditions
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Assist with medication administration and nursing procedures
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients
- Follow institutional policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
- Assist in emergency response situations when required
