About The Position

Interim Healthcare is looking for a motivated and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a flexible hybrid role that combines part-time office support with hands-on caregiving in the field. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to stay clinically active while also supporting and mentoring caregivers behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who wants to design their own schedule and build work around their life, not the other way around. You will have the flexibility to choose your own office hours, as long as you can coordinate times to meet with new hires and provide support to existing caregivers. A key benefit of this role is the balance of stability and flexibility—you’ll have reliable, consistent pay from your office hours, with the opportunity to pick up additional income by taking on clinical shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Must be located near our office at South Plainfield for easy and convenient access
• Ability to pop in and out of the office as needed to meet with caregivers
• Active LPN license in good standing
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers
• Tech-friendly and able to assist others with basic apps and systems
• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train new caregivers
• Comfortable installing apps and changing settings on phones
• Provide ongoing support to current caregivers, including help with apps/technology, documentation, and general guidance
• Assist with maintaining physical office records, including scanning mail and depositing checks
• Work approximately 10–20 hours per week, either in the office or in the field, on your schedule
• Support the scheduling team by helping to answer phone calls while in the office
• Be available to jump in for last-minute shift coverage as needed
• Stay active in the field providing client care
