About The Position
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, has openings for Full/Part-Time Day Shift & Full-Time-Time Night Shift & PRN Licensed Practical Nurses at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna, DE. We offer shift differentials for various shifts. Candidates must be available for at least 3-6 weeks for onsite training. Requirements
- Must be available for at least 3-6 weeks for onsite training.
Responsibilities
- Delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
- Responsible for tasks, activities and functions as delegated and may make assignment of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act.
- Provides monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or another practitioner.
