About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Meridian Center for a 9-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment. As an LPN, you will play a key role in supporting patients’ daily medical needs, assisting RNs and physicians, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained throughout your shift.
Requirements
- Current and active LPN license in good standing.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the care team.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
