About The Position
StoryPoint Granger is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 for full-time employees, along with full benefits and PTO. The role involves leading and training a team of caregivers, evaluating up to 133 residents, reporting changes in condition to physicians, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR) systems, and communicating effectively with the team, residents, and families. Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state.
- Passionate about working with the elderly.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted Living/Memory Care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and train your team of caregivers.
- Responsible for evaluating up to 133 residents and reporting change in condition to physicians.
- Utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR)
- Communicating effectively to team, residents and families.
- Building strong relationships.
