About The Position
Heartline Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 6-month local contract in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing direct nursing care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a state-operated residential healthcare setting. Responsibilities include medication administration, treatments, documentation, resident assessments, and collaboration with a healthcare team. The position requires compassion, patience, and dependability, especially when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors. A mandatory, paid three-week orientation (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) will precede the assigned shift.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or eligibility for Pennsylvania reciprocity.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule for the duration of the 6-month contract.
- Ability to successfully complete the required paid three-week orientation program prior to starting the assigned shift.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care.
- Work professionally with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with behavioral challenges.
