Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Interim HealthCare is seeking an exceptional LPN to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing care for a medically complex pediatric client in her home. This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with a child and her family while delivering high-quality, individualized care in a supportive and rewarding setting. You'll be caring for a bright, engaging young girl who thrives with a team that supports her growth, comfort, and well-being. Her care needs include developmental delays, deafness, non-verbal communication, G-tube feedings, and seizure monitoring and management. As part of her dedicated care team, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment while providing skilled nursing care tailored to her individual needs.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire
- Current CPR certification required
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience within the past five years preferred
- Home care or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the home setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to the care plan
- Monitor for seizure activity and respond appropriately
- Manage G-tube feedings and related care
- Assess and document patient status and changes in condition
- Collaborate with the family and interdisciplinary care team
- Support the client's comfort, safety, and quality of life
