About The Position

Saint Mary's Regional Health System is seeking a Med-Surg Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse medical and surgical patient population. The role is part of a collaborative, fast-paced, supportive team focused on communication, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. The position is full-time, working days on a 3x12 schedule.

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or compact-state LPN license; if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Associate's degree required.

• One year of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical and surgical patients.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
