About The Position

Saint Mary's Regional Health System is seeking a Med-Surg Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population with medical and surgical needs. The role is part of a collaborative, fast-paced, supportive team focused on communication, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.

The position is full-time, working day shifts in a 3x12 schedule. The LPN assesses patient conditions, develops individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, monitors progress, communicates condition changes, collaborates with healthcare professionals, and educates patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required.
• Active Arkansas or compact state LPN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• One year of previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities
