Requirements

  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the state(s) of practice
  • Current hands-on BLS certification and TB test
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license to practice professional nursing in each state where patient care is supervised, current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Valid and current CPR Certification
  • Valid and current License Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug Screening

  • OIG Exclusion List check
  • Sex Offender Registry check

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of in-home health care experience
  • Must have every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60 miles
  • Must be willing to work in multiple homes (if applicable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care and build close relationships with patients.
  • Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees.
  • Proactively identify Company risks and institute policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance using related law and industry data.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Analyze data from different sources to draw conclusions.
  • Utilize effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
  • Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
  • Maintain current state licensure.
  • Maintain current liability and malpractice insurance, if applicable.
