Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Contract Partnership
About The Position
Hand N Hand Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide skilled nursing care in clients’ homes in rural communities. The role supports people who prefer receiving care in their own communities rather than traveling to Knoxville or Oak Ridge. The nurse works with RN Case Managers and caregivers to help keep clients safe, stable, and comfortable, while building long-term relationships with clients and families. The position is described as a 1099 contract partnership serving Kingston, Tennessee, with a listed service area of Campbell County. Pay is $32.00–$34.00 per hour, plus shift differential and mileage reimbursement. Scheduling is flexible, with full-time or part-time availability, and clients are generally local and consistent.
Requirements
- Active Tennessee LPN license.
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
- Comfort working independently in home environments.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Home-health experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Complete skilled nursing assessments and follow individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Document visits clearly and promptly.
- Communicate changes in clients’ conditions to the RN Case Manager.
- Build trust with clients and families in rural home settings.
