Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- 2nd shift- 12 hours
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the 2nd shift, working 12-hour shifts, will oversee medication distribution according to physician orders, ensuring strict adherence to Community medication management documentation and procedures, and demonstrating steadfast dedication to resident safety. Upon thorough assessment, the LPN creates personalized service plans tailored to individual care needs while championing resident independence and dignity. The role involves cultivating communication between physicians, healthcare providers, and family, fostering an effective exchange of information pertaining to the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents. The LPN also contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives and engages in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
