1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for adult and/or pediatric care to join their Hudson County skilled nursing team. They emphasize providing high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. This role offers the flexibility of traditional shift types (8, 10, or 12 hours) with one-on-one care for a single client, allowing for relationship building and observing client milestones. Client ages range from infant to geriatric. The position involves traveling to a client's home, executing doctors' orders, performing assessments, monitoring conditions, and documenting observations and interventions. BAYADA provides comprehensive paid training, including simulation labs and around-the-clock clinical support, to ensure nurses are prepared for their first shift. They care for clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
- One year of LPN experience
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients one-on-one
- Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
