About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem (PRN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Boonville Correctional Center in Boonville, Missouri. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- IV Certified
- Actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
Benefits
- $30/hr. plus shift differentials
