About The Position
Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care, operational assistance to the Wellness Director, and support to staff. The nurse is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of care services in the community and may coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and supplies. The role participates in the development and implementation of the company's philosophies. This is a full-time night-shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Weekend work is required.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensed to practice as required by state regulations.
- Experience in direct patient care and assessments or observation of clinical conditions.
- CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid.
- Complete all state-required training to maintain licensure.
- Able to work flexible hours due to the demands of the position.
- Available to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising the medication program and medication-room activities, and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
- Report significant incidents and changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
- Assist with completing resident assessments and service plans.
- Assist in training assisted-living staff and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing caregivers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
