Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program required.
- Current, active LPN or LVN license in the state of Texas required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute care setting preferred.
- Must be passionate about quality patient care and serving an under served population.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care.
- Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care.
- Maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
- Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and skills of personnel.
