About The Position

This is a contract/temporary position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves providing quality nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate patient records. The position requires adherence to facility policies and state regulations, including infection control and safety procedures. The LPN will also participate in patient education and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license).
• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently within a team environment.
• Must meet all facility and agency onboarding requirements prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and New Mexico state regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to supervising RN or physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and facility procedures.
• Participate in patient and family education as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the facility supervisor.
