Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Adult Trach & Vent
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurses with tracheostomy and ventilator experience to provide one-on-one care to adult clients in their homes throughout New Castle County, Delaware. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and provide personalized private duty care, building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting their milestones. Traditional shifts are 8, 10, or 12 hours, and scheduling is flexible. The role offers autonomy in the home and access to a supportive team, paid training, continued learning, and benefits for eligible employees. Compensation is up to $40 per hour, based on client care and shift. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home according to the chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on one-on-one care in the home.
