As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Requirements

• Graduate of accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Handle with Care Preferred
• Neonate, Infant, Early childhood, Late childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
• Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may be present.
• Critical thinking and decisive judgment; able to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple clinical software systems.
• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
• Ability to successfully complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
