About The Position

Join a collaborative outpatient/ambulatory care team as an LPN/LVN, providing direct patient care to active-duty service members, retirees, and their families under the direction of RNs and providers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual otherwise authorized to work in the United States
• Certificate - State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military training (TE5)
• Current, full, active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
• Able to pass a Tier 1 (or higher) background investigation for facility and network access
• 1 year experience within the last 2 years as practical/vocational nurse

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in an outpatient, ambulatory, or primary care clinic setting
• Experience with military or federal healthcare beneficiary populations
• Strong patient education and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice under RN or provider supervision
• Obtain vital signs, perform basic clinical assessments, and assist with procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practice
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
• Support clinic flow and coordination across the outpatient/ambulatory care team
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
