About The Position
Southwoods Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Ortho & Rheumatology Physician Office in Boardman. They offer a schedule that respects your time and aims to prevent burnout, allowing for high-quality patient care. Two positions are available: Position 1 offers 40 hours per week with a Monday-Friday schedule (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), with rotating locations between Boardman and Howland offices. Position 2 offers 32 hours per week, working 4 weekdays per week (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) at the Boardman office.
Requirements
- Current Ohio LPN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 1+ years of direct patient care experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- Talent for multitasking with empathy
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience in a physician office or ambulatory setting
Responsibilities
- Manage clinical phone lines, triage inquiries, and relay results to patients.
- Schedule procedures and follow-ups, ensuring all records are ready for hospital cases.
- Process prescription refills accurately via EMR.
- Maintain a professional environment and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and TJC standards.
