About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week long-term care assignment in Falmouth, MA. The LPN will provide compassionate resident care, administer medications and treatments, supervise nursing assistants, and support daily clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility environment.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts LPN License required
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- Current BLS / CPR / AED certification required
- Ability to meet physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants effectively
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing standards
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing assistants and support resident care activities
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, charts, MARs, and care plans
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes appropriately
- Perform wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, and specimen collection
- Take and document vital signs
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Provide education and support to residents and families
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
