About The Position

BAYADA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for pediatric homecare positions, focusing on overnight care. This role offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one care in a safe and meaningful working environment. BAYADA emphasizes that nurses who have experience in hospitals, long-term care, or schools have directly transferable skills for private duty nursing. Private duty nursing involves working full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client, commuting to one client's home per shift. Nurses can choose flexible schedules based on client needs and work with local clients, minimizing commute times. The acuity of cases varies, accommodating different nurse skill levels and interests, including g-tube, trach, and vent care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (indicated by school transcript or diploma).
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school nursing are applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with g-tube, trach, and vent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one client care in a home setting.
