Requirements

Current Louisiana LPN license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice To Haves

OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred (prenatal, gynecological, or reproductive health setting)
Previous experience in a physician's office preferred
Experience assisting with gynecological exams and prenatal visits
Knowledge of women's health workflows, including prenatal care, family planning, and STI screening
Ability to perform phlebotomy, urine testing, and specimen collection
Familiarity with patient education related to pregnancy, contraception, and preventive care
Ability to triage patient concerns and escalate appropriately

Responsibilities

Assisting physicians with examinations
