About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care facility in Dubuque, Iowa. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
Current, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Iowa (or active Compact/NLC state license).
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
Minimum 1+ years of long-term care or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with healthcare teams and families; proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.

Nice To Haves

Prior travel nursing experience.
Hands-on experience with specialized wound care or palliative care principles.

Responsibilities

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform wound care, and execute routine nursing procedures following individualized care plans.
Continually assess changes in resident health conditions and promptly communicate updates to RNs, physicians, and resident families.
Work alongside CNAs, therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and rehabilitation goals.
Maintain accurate, timely resident records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in compliance with facility and safety standards.
