About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable IV Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a specialty medical practice in Las Vegas. The LPN will support providers in delivering quality patient care, assist with clinical procedures and treatments, and help ensure efficient day-to-day clinic operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in an outpatient healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • Current Nevada Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Current Nevada IV Certification.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience in a clinic, physician office, infusion center, or similar healthcare setting.
  • Experience initiating and maintaining IVs.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a specialty medical practice or outpatient clinic.
  • Experience with infusion therapy.
  • Knowledge of insurance authorizations and patient care coordination.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of Nevada LPN practice.
  • Obtain and document patient information, including vital signs and medical histories.
  • Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.
  • Initiate and maintain IV access as directed and within scope of practice.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
  • Monitor patients during and after treatments and report concerns to the provider.
  • Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Assist with care coordination, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
