Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN - Homecare
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. As a nonprofit, employees are not concerned about company mergers, acquisitions, or new leadership teams. Leaders and nurses at BAYADA often have long tenure. This role involves one-to-one client care in a home setting, with nurses working with local clients nearby and short commutes. Common diagnoses include TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy. LPNs/LVNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills suitable for this role.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
- Work with local clients nearby with short commutes.
- Handle common diagnoses such as TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy.
