About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been providing care for 50 years. They offer stability and a supportive environment for their nurses. This role focuses on private duty nursing, which involves working with a single client for full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) in their home, often with short commutes. Nurses will work with clients who have diagnoses such as TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy. LPNs/LVNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have transferable skills suitable for this role.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (indicated by school transcript or diploma).
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
• Work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client.
• Manage common diagnoses including TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Spinal Muscle Atrophy, and Epilepsy.
