About The Position

This is a day shift, full-time position for a Hepatobiliary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Utica Park Clinic in Tulsa, OK. The clinic is a multi-specialty medical group founded in 1982, with over 300 employed physicians and advanced practice providers across 82 sites in Oklahoma. The role involves providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate patient care, understand growth and development principles, and be able to collect patient status data. Responsibilities include participating in the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care according to HHS standards to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care. Adherence to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act is expected.

Requirements

Oklahoma State LPN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities

Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
Participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
