About The Position
Department: Emergency Department Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift Facility: Central Maine Medical Center Location: Lewiston, ME Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the emergency care setting. Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire (state specific).
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
- Current PALS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
Responsibilities
