About The Position

In doing so, we have developed the right way - the "Correct Way" as we like to call it - of providing correctional healthcare. Currently, CorrectHealth provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare services inside the walls of more than 40 correctional facilities throughout Georgia and Louisiana. This full-time opportunity is for a Clinical Services (LPN) in the state of Louisiana. The position will require travel to various clinical sites in Louisiana and may include daily travel and the flexibility to adjust schedules according to staffing needs.

Requirements

Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing.
Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a LPN in the state of employment.
American Heart Association BLS.
3-5 years LPN experience required.
Strong communication, training, and leadership skills required.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of correctional experience preferred.
Working knowledge of the NCCHC, ACA, and state standards of health care in the correctional environment required.

Responsibilities

Providing staffing coverage as needed to multiple CH facilities throughout Georgia and surrounding states.
Supporting the Clinical Services Department through activities involving staff education, site accreditation, program & site continuous quality improvement, site transition, and other areas within the Clinical Services Department as needed.
Providing staffing coverage as needed.
Travel throughout Louisiana required.
