This role involves two key functions: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) within Occupational Health Services. The LPN is responsible for patient care under the direction of a Physician, preparing and assessing patients, and observing/recording patient responses to care. The CMA works closely with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care, ensuring services are within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines. This includes reviewing health records, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms. Both roles are integral to providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.
