About The Position
This is a Licensed Practical Nurse Intern position in the Cardiovascular specialty at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The role is PRN (as needed) with day shifts. Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through their academic partnership with Wichita State University.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
- Actively pursuing your nursing degree through an accredited LPN program.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with the fundamental activities of daily living—such as bathing, dressing, and positioning—with a focus on maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Accurately capture vital signs and managing intake/output measurements.
- Monitor patient conditions and reporting significant changes directly to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Record patient data and updating care plans.
