About The Position

This part-time contractual position provides school nursing services for students to improve, maintain, or adapt to their health status in order to strengthen and enhance their educational experience.

Requirements

• Current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring vehicle operation).
• Current certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (may be required).
• Provide the facility with a telephone number where they can be reached.
• Subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.

Nice To Haves

• U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing or Health Care Specialist specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
