About The Position
This position will provide full-performance-level nursing care to persons served at the Joseph S. Massie Unit, a residential substance abuse disorder treatment program. This position is primarily for the second and third shifts.
Requirements
- Possess a current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- May require a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
- May require current certification of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
- Must provide the facility with a telephone number where they can be reached.
- Subject to substance abuse testing.
Nice To Haves
- U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Nursing classifications or Nursing or Health Care Specialist specialty codes in the Nursing field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
