About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their interdisciplinary team at The Recovery Center in Macon, GA. The LPN will provide immediate, client-centered care in a safe, supportive environment for clients on the adult unit. River Edge serves over 10,000 Georgians, offering mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization, medication maintenance, and crisis intervention.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, IDD, or a related field
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including vital signs and crisis evaluations
- Provide wound care and address acute physical health needs
