About The Position
Security officers are tasked with securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, responding to codes to de-escalate crisis situations, and verifying visitors. At River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA, employees are expected to develop meaningful relationships with patients, establishing trust and making a difference in the lives of clients and their families.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Professional security experience of some related nature is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Guards, patrols, and monitor premises to help prevent theft, violence, and infractions of rules.
- Secures and protects facilities in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events.
- Answer the alarm and investigate disturbances.
- Escorts or motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection.
- Inspects facilities for fire, safety, or environmental hazards.
