About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Child & Adolescent Unit at The Recovery Center in Macon, GA. The LPN will be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team, providing immediate, client-centered care in a safe, supportive environment. The role involves administering medications and treatments, conducting assessments including vital signs and crisis evaluations, and providing wound care and addressing acute physical health needs. River Edge serves over 10,000 Georgians, offering mental health, substance use disorder treatments, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide outpatient services including behavioral health, nursing, psychiatric assessment, stabilization, medication maintenance, and crisis intervention.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, IDD, or a related field
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including vital signs and crisis evaluations
