The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN4) for the Washington Corrections Center Shelton, WA. Licensed Practical Nurses will receive shift differential in the amount of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for evening shift and night shift work. Employees may also qualify for one or both of these supplemental shift premiums in addition to the above. One dollar ($1.00) per hour during any hours assigned to work from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Three dollars ($3.00) per hour during any hours worked from Friday midnight to Sunday midnight. Washington Corrections Center is our transition center were all those that are being assigned to DOC come to for initial evaluation and are then sent to other facilities for their care needs. This is a busy facility seeing patients for physicals and transfers. Washington Corrections Center has both inpatient and outpatient clinics that see numerous patients for different health needs and concerns.
