The Licensed Field Professional is the face of George Plumbing Co.—a skilled tradesperson, trusted consultant, and problem-solver. You’ll diagnose, repair, and replace plumbing systems while educating customers on long-term solutions that fit their needs, home, and budget. Requirements

  • Current Texas Plumbing License (Tradesman or Journeyman minimum)
  • Minimum 2 years of residential service and repair experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor—representing George Plumbing Co. at the highest standard

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential plumbing diagnostics, repairs, replacements, and installations to company standards.
  • Present clear, professional service options and financing to customers—never assumptions, always education.
  • Deliver honest, transparent communication that builds long-term trust.
  • Maintain clean, organized trucks and uphold a professional appearance that represents George Plumbing’s brand.
  • Ensure all work complies with Texas plumbing codes and company safety standards.
  • Own your work from start to finish—including callbacks or warranty issues related to your job.
  • Support and mentor apprentices through daily teaching moments and professionalism by example.
  • Track parts usage, complete paperwork accurately, and communicate job progress clearly with dispatch and management.
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and performance reviews to strengthen technical and customer service skills.
