About The Position
Hyperion Biotechnology, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Plumbing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a VA healthcare water safety and Legionella management program.
Requirements
- Licensed plumber in CA and AZ (required)
- Minimum 5+ years experience in commercial or healthcare plumbing systems
- Experience with potable water systems and hot water distribution
- Knowledge of Legionella mitigation and water safety programs
Nice To Haves
- VA or hospital system experience
- ASSE 12080 or ASPE CPD certification
Responsibilities
- Evaluate plumbing systems in healthcare facilities
- Support Water Management Programs (WMPs)
- Identify Legionella risk factors (stagnation, temperature, biofilm)
- Develop remediation and flushing protocols
- Advise on plumbing system upgrades and compliance
