Established plumbing company serving Atlanta for 45 years is searching for a dependable and trustworthy Licensed Plumber with a minimum of 5 years of commercial and residential service experience. This role is primarily needed for repair, light remodeling, and drain cleaning services. While those with less experience are encouraged to apply, candidates with more experience may be evaluated first. A sign-on bonus is offered for Licensed Plumbers with a minimum of 5 years of commercial and residential service experience. The pay structure is commission-based, with a baseline of $40K-$100K+, and earning potential is determined by motivation, dedication, hard work, and customer service. The company emphasizes that commission pay is highly compensated and encourages applicants not to be deterred by it. The role requires the plumber to provide their own hand tools and is responsible for daily record keeping, invoicing, inventory, and light maintenance. The job involves service work and confined spaces, with occasional heavy lifting up to 100 pounds. Responsibilities also include cleaning the work area, equipment, and truck, and interacting positively with the team and clients. A strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential. Insurance benefits are available the first of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. The basic function of this role is to perform all services of the trade, including inspecting, repairing, modifying, installing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drain systems. This includes assembling and repairing pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures, and cleaning blocked drains, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations.
Requirements
- Licensed Plumber
- Minimum of 5 years commercial and residential service experience
- Provide own hand tools

- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities
- Perform all services of the trade including, but not limited to, inspecting, repairing, modifying, installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drain systems.
- Assemble and repair pipe systems of various shapes, sizes and pressures.
- Clean blocked drains, toilets, sinks, manholes, and lift stations.
- Knowledge in plumbing techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge in trouble shooting plumbing problems.
- Repair, service and install fixtures and lines.
- Use locating equipment and camera.
- Knowledge of sewer jetting and inspection.
- Read plumbing diagrams.
- Knowledge of lift station repairs.
- Demonstrate appropriate safety, hygiene and health standards.
- Demonstrate safety of work area.
- Adhere to schedules; demonstrate punctuality.
- Willing to be called out in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adjust to change.

- Identify plumbing electrical and safety problems applicable to the location and take appropriate corrective action.
- Maintenance of customer owned pipe systems and fixtures as scheduled.
- Maintain company owned equipment, tools and vehicles.
- Digging ditches.
- Mixing and pouring concrete.
- Entering confined spaces.
- Complete daily work as assigned.
- Leave work area in a neat and clean condition. Ensure that area is picked up at the end of each job and each day.
- Use provided tools and equipment with care.
- Request parts from the plumbing inventory or parts house as needed.
- Clean tools and equipment as required.
- Keep Field Supervisor apprised of any problems or complaints.
- Maintain safe work site.
- Remain updated on code changes as they relate to plumbing.
- Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- Perform any other task or duty as may be occasionally assigned by management.
- Interact with and contribute to the team.
- Be self-motivated.
