Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous acute care, rehab, or outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) supports Physical Therapists (PTs) in providing treatments to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage physical disabilities.
• The PTA works under the direction and supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans and monitoring patient progress.
