About The Position

Inova Physical Therapy - Ashburn is looking for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join their outstanding team. This role is Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday-Friday with 2 evening shifts per week until 7pm. Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Requirements

• Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
• BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
• VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
