About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for its Senior Living Division in Huntley, Illinois. The role is in an assisted living setting and is scheduled for three days Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule. The wage range is $33–$35 per hour, based mainly on experience. The assistant supports care planned by Physical Therapists by providing direct patient care, monitoring and documenting progress, and educating patients and families. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Document patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and support effective treatment outcomes.
